Senior Editor (d/f/m)

To strengthen our team in Bad Homburg/Dornholzhausen, we are looking for a Senior Editor (d/f/m).

We are a recognised media brand with a high journalistic reputation. For more than 50 years, we have been providing executives in the German and European plastics industry with decision-relevant business information. The portfolio includes industry information services, web portals, API solutions, mobile applications, trade journals and seminars/webinars in German and English. Our products are market leaders in many segments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Creating daily content for English-language plastics news websites
• Editing and proofreading freelancers’ articles
• Editorial and market research / Giving presentations
• Managing the print edition
• International networking
• Attendance of trade fairs, conferences
• Collaborating in editorial and other strategic projects
• Creative marketing/sales support

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent
• At least 4 years of journalistic/editorial experience, ideally in the news, commercial or technical sector
• Native English (or language level C2) with excellent writing and expression skills
• Sound knowledge of German to communicate within the team
• International B2B experience desired
• Knowledge of commercial / finance / market research, ideally in the plastics industry
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
